Pre-Show: Three Man Band vs. Justin Gabriel and Tyson Kidd

The one thing that bothers me about this match is that this could mean that the rumored elimination survivor series match may not take place now that Gabriel and Kidd are in this match. Maybe we will get lucky and they will just decided to put Cobro into the elimination match. 3MB has been on a roll lately so I will predict them to win. I am just glad that they have found something for Slater and McIntyre to do, but wish that they would just sack Jinder Mahal. 

United States Champion Antonio Cesaro vs. R-Truth

I'm not a huge fan of either of these competitors, but I would be lying if I said that the feud has not entertained me. My favorite moment from this feud is R-Truth mocking Cesaro by saying, "You just got got!" in five different languages. I hope that Cesaro will show some more character development soon or give the title to someone else. Last month I was hoping that Gabriel would best the Swiss Superstar. For Survivor Series I will predict that Antonio Cesaro retains the championship.

Divas Champion Eve vs. Kaitlyn

How long will it take the WWE to realize that they need to completely revamp their Divas division. It has taken a big hit this year with the loss of Kelly Kelly, Beth Phoenix, and Kharma. I know that Kelly Kelly is not the greatest women wrestler, but she at least got some sort of reaction. This feud is going on way too long with no outcome. I think that WWE will take the safe route and reveal that Eve was the attacker or they will just drop the idea. I hope that once AJ is done with her scandal she will be entered into the title hunt. I just cannot see Kaitlyn winning the title, so Eve is my pick.

Team Foley vs. Team Ziggler (Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Tag Match)

This match has no reason to happen now that they took CM Punk and Ryback out of the match. This is actually a difficult match to choose a winner for. On one side you have the Tag Team champions, Randy Orton, the Intercontinental Champion, and possibly a face turning Miz. On the other side you have Alberto Del Boring, The Rhodes Scholars (possibly without Cody), The Barrett Barrage, and the Money in the Bank Winner. Since the whole story seems to revolving around The Miz, I think I will pick Team Mick Foley to win.

World Heavyweight Champion Big Show vs. Sheamus

I was surprised when Big Show won the title at Hell in a Cell. I was also surprised that Dolph Ziggler did not cash in his briefcase after Big Show won. I was sitting there waiting for it to happen, but Big Show made it all the way to the back. After that I thought to myself, "Ok, Dolph will trick Big Show on RAW." That did not happen either and now we are at Survivor Series. I really enjoyed their match from Hell in a Cell and I think that they can have another great match at Survivor Series. I believe that Big Show will retain and we will not see a Dolph Ziggler cash in at Survivor Series. I think that Big Show is close to retiring and the WWE are given him a thank you gift by allowing him to remain the champion.

WWE Champion CM Punk vs. John Cena vs. Ryback

I do not think that this match should be happening. We should be having Dolph Ziggler vs. John Cena. Vince McMahon needs to quit getting worried and go with his gut instincts. I think that Punk and Ryback would have worked fine in the elimination match. This is another one of those hard to predict matches. All three competitors need the win, but only one will come out with it. Ryback needs to come out looking strong, so I do not think that he should take the pin. CM Punk needs to continue to look strong so all his momentum is not wasted. Finally John Cena is ultimately heading for Cena vs. Rock 2 and cannot face to lose. Here is how I see it playing out: I believe that CM Punk will get the win and I think he will end up pinning Cena for that win. Out of the three competitors, Cena is the person who can come back from the loss the quickest.

Hell in a Cell Predictions

Kofi Kingston vs. The Miz for the Intercontinental Championship

Kofi is going strong after two wins in a row over The Miz. The Miz declares that Kingston is just a B-level superstar that only goes, "Boom! Boom! Boom" I think that hopefully The Miz's loss means that he will be put up in the main event level a little more. Hopefully Kofi's reign as Intercontinental Champions will help to bring him closer to the main event that he seems to dodge throughout his whole career. Since Kofi Kingston just won the title from the Miz, I am going to go with him winning. 

Randy Orton vs. Alberto Del Rio

This has been a pretty one sided feud. With Randy filming his movie Twelve Rounds and only appearing a few times during this feud, I must say that ADR surprised me. Usually he bores me to tears. I am not a fan of him, and if I DVR an event I usually skip through his matches just to see who wins. I did pleasantly enjoy his mocking of Randy Orton on Smackdown. After all is said and done, I do not think that Del Rio will be able to overcome The Viper and Randy Orton will get the win.

Eve vs. Kaitlyn vs. Layla in a Triple Threat Match for the Divas Championship

 

Another surprise to the card. Not because I wasn't expecting the Divas to have a match, but because we have a Divas match that actually has an extensive story to it. After reading the blurb about this match on wwe.com there is another thing that is interesting about this match. Layla won the 2006 Diva Search, Eve won the 2007 Diva Search, and Kaitlyn won the 2010 season of NXT. To predict the winner I will automatically throw Kaitlyn out of the running. I do not believe she has a chance of winning this match. Eve just won the title not too long ago, and I do not think it is time for Layla to redeem it. On another note, I believe Kaitlyn will have a title run in her future now that Beth Phoenix is rumored to be leaving, Kelly Kelly left, and Kharma left. But, at Hell in a Cell Eve will be your winner to retain her championship.

Team Hell No vs. The Rhodes Scholars for the WWE Tag Team Championships

I am a huge fan of Team Hell No and I really like the direction the tag team division is going. I also really enjoy the Team of Damien Sandow and Cody Rhodes. I am afraid that if Team Hell No loses the titles here they will be broken up and I do not think that is the smartest move. Both Daniel Bryan and Kane are main event level superstars, but the main event is very crowded right now. I think that the smart move is to keep them as a tag team until the time is right for one or both of them to move up. With that I predict that Team Hell No will retain their titles. 

Sheamus vs. Big Show for the World Heavyweight Championship

This is not as easy to predict as some would think. On one hand, you have Sheamus who beat Daniel Bryan for the title at Wrestlemania in 18 seconds. On the other side, you have Big Show, who loss the World Title to Bryan in 45 seconds. There are multiple ways the WWE can go about with this match. Most of those ways don't even rely on the competitors in the match. Let's just say I do not see Big Show walking out of Hell in a Cell as World Heavyweight Champion. He could win the title, but he won't leave the champion. But, I am going to take the safe route and say that Sheamus retains his championship, but don't be surprised if Dolph Ziggler cashes in Sunday night.

CM Punk vs. Ryback in a Hell in a Cell match for the WWE Championship

The WWE have backed themselves into a corner with this match. At the end of the night, either CM Punk's 340+ day WWE Championship reign will be over, or Ryback's undefeated streak will be over. I think that it was too soon to put Ryback into the title hunt, but I understand that with John Cena's health it was a safe route to take. I just cannot see Ryback leaving as the champion. If this was not taking place in the cell, a no contest would be an easy way out. For some reason the WWE decided to make this match in a cell and backed themselves into a corner. I say that CM Punk will retain, but don't be surprised if Paul Heyman has some shenanigans with the match. Possibly bringing back Brock Lesnar.

My Power 25: Week of 10/7/12-10/14/12

#25 Tensai (LW=23)

Tensai had a tough battle against the World Heavyweight Sheamus this week.

#24 Jinder Mahal (LW=Unranked)

After dropping off the Power 25 weeks ago, Jinder Mahal finds himself back in the rankings when he and Heath Slater beat Zack Ryder and Santino Marella.

#23 David Otunga (LW=22)

David Otunga finds himself dropping a spot after a week of inactivity.

#22 Kofi Kingston (LW=25)

After breaking up with his tag team partner on good terms, Kofi beat Michael McGillicutty on The Main Event and challenged the Miz to his Intercontinental Title on next week's show. He then loss to Big Show on Smackdown.

#21 Heath Slater (LW=24)

On Smackdown Heath Slater teamed with fellow Band member, Jinder Mahal to beat Santino Marella and Zack Ryder.

#20 Zack Ryder (LW=19)

Zack Ryder and Santino Marella are on a losing streak. This week they loss to Team Rhodes Scholars in the tag team tournament and The Band.

#19 Prime Time Players (LW=18)

Darren Young and Titus O'Neil are no longer in the tag team tournament after losing to Rey Mysterio and Sin Cara.

#18 The Miz (LW=20)

The Miz did not compete this week, but he made his presence known by appearing on stage with Larry King and challenging Kofi Kingston on The Main Event.

#17 Santino Marella (LW=16)

Santino teamed with Zack Ryder and loss to Team Rhode Scholars on RAW and The Band on Smackdown.

#16 Wade Barrett (LW=17)

Barrett loss to Sheamus by DQ on Friday, but showed that he meant business by decimating Tyson Kidd on Superstars.

#15 Brodus Clay (LW=15)

Brodus did not compete this week because his match with R-Truth was interrupted by Mr. McMahon.

#14 Layla (LW=14)

Layla did not have a match this week.

#13 Eve Torres (LW=13)

Eve defeated Kaitlyn this week on RAW.

#12 Dolph Ziggler (LW=9)

Ziggler drops out of the top ten after teaming with Alberto Del Rio and losing to Team Hell No. He then tried to use his Money in the Bank Brief Case on The Big Red Monster, Kane, which got himself disqualified.

#11 Big Show (LW=12)

Big Show had a big week after defeating both Randy Orton and Kofi Kingston.

#10 Team Rhodes Scholars (LW=11)

The Rhodes Scholars advance in the tag team tournament after picking up the win against Zack Ryder and Santino Marella. They are hoping that Sandow's loss to Sin Cara is not predicting the future.

#9 Antonio Cesaro (LW=10)

Justin Gabriel and Tyson Kidd both felt the strength of Antonio Cesaro this week.

#8 Ryback (LW=8)

Ryback's streak continues. This week he beat both Primo and Epico in a handicap match and he came to the aid of Vince McMahon.

#7 Randy Orton (LW=5)

After getting taken out by Del Rio last week, Randy Orton could no overtake the Big Show on The Main Event.

#6 Alberto Del Rio (LW=7)

Alberto moves up in the ranking after teaming with Dolph Ziggler and losing to Team Hell No, but he was able to pick up a singles win over Daniel Bryan.

#5 John Cena (LW=4)

John Cena's status for Hell in a Cell is still unknown. He drops a spot after another week of inactivity.

#4 Rey Mysterio and Sin Cara (LW=6)

Rey Mysterio and Sin Cara move up into the top five after advancing to the finals of the tag team tournament. Sin Cara then showed his strength by beating Damien Sandow.

#3 Team Hell No (LW=3)

Team Hell No keeps on winning after defeating Dolph Ziggler and Alberto Del Rio. Kane then defeated Dolph Ziggler and Daniel Bryan loss to Alberto Del Rio.

#2 CM Punk (LW=1)

Cm Punk competed against the Chairman of the WWE, Mr. McMahon. His match was never finished but he was given an ultimatum, he chooses to defend against Ryback or John Cena, or McMahon will choose for him.

#1 Sheamus (LW=2)

Sheamus finds himself on top of the rankings again after winning two matches by disqualification against Wade Barrett and Tensai.

Goodbye: These superstars were unable to retain their spots on the Power 25.

Ted DiBiase (21): He has had a few weeks with no action and drops off the Power 25.

My Power 25- Week of 9/16/12-9/22/12

This week was a hard one to place because of Eve winning the Diva's Championship and Kane and Daniel Bryan winning the Tag Team Championships. I decided to put Kane and Daniel Bryan together on the Power 25.

#25 Dew McIntyre (LW=Unranked)

 

Drew McIntyre debuts on the Power 25 after defeating Jinder Mahal on Superstars. He then joined Jinder Mahal and Heath Slater in a beat down on Brodus Clay.

#24 Kaitlyn (LW=19)

Kaitlyn did not get a chance to cash in on her championship match. She was attacked and ended up tearing a tendon in her foot. She is going to be out of action for the next couple of weeks and will most likely drop off of the Power 25 next week.

#23 Ted DiBiase (LW=Unranked)

Ted DiBiase returned from injury at Night of Champions to participate in the pre-show battle royal. He then defeated JTG on Superstars.

#22 R-Truth and Kofi Kingston (LW=18)

R-Truth and Kofi Kingston loss the WWE Tag Team Championships to Kane and Daniel Bryan at Night of Champions. They then lost their rematch to the Tag Team Champions on RAW.

#21 Prime Time Players (LW=22)

The Prime Time Players beat The Usos on Smackdown.

#20 Wade Barrett (LW=24)

Last week Wade Barrett told the WWE Universe that he was going to make a statement. He did just that by beating his former Nexus and Corre teammate, Justin Gabriel.

#19 Cody Rhodes (LW=23)

Cody Rhodes lost the fatal four way at Night of Champions, but he showed that it did not bother him by beating Daniel Bryan on Smackdown. 

#18 The Miz (LW=21)

Not only did Miz retain his Intercontinental Championship at Night of Champions, but he introduced his new talk show, Miz TV.

 

#17 Eve Torres (LW=20)

 

Eve got her opportunity when Kaitlyn was struck with an injury before her match at Night of Champions. Eve took advantage of the situation and beat Layla for the Diva's Championship. She also beat Beth Phoenix on RAW. Now the only question is, "Who attacked Kaitlyn?"

#16 Layla (LW=14)

Layla was not ready for her match with Eve and she lost the Diva's Championship. She did try to retain herself by beating Natalya on Smackdown.

#15 Zack Ryder (LW=15)

 

Zack Ryder won the pre-show battle royal, but did not succeed in capturing the United States Championship at Night of Champions. He then lost to Damien Sandow on RAW.

#14 Antonio Cesaro (LW=17)

 

Antonio Cesaro defended his United States Championship against Zack Ryder at Night of Champions. He then let an argument with Aksana cost him a match against Santino Marella on Smackdown.

#13 Santino Marella (LW=16)

Santino started off the week slow with a loss to Dolph Ziggler. He then had a huge upset when he beat the United States Champion, Antonio Cesaro, on Smackdown.

#12 Ryback (LW=11)

Ryback did not have any action this week, but he did make a statement. He destroyed the set on the debut episode of Miz TV. The Miz better watch out or else he will be feeding his Intercontinental Championship to Ryback.

#11 Brodus Clay (LW=13)

The Funkasaurus had a pair of wins this week against Heath Slater on RAW and Smackdown.

     

#10 Damien Sandow (LW=12)

Damien Sandow had a two wins this week. He defeated Zack Ryder on RAW and Kane on Smackdown.

#9 Kane and Daniel Bryan (LW=8 and 10)

Kane and Daniel Bryan beat R-Truth and Kofi Kingston at Night of Champions and then again on RAW. They had a slight bump when Kane lost to Damien Sandow and Daniel Bryan lost to Cody Rhodes due to the others interference on Smackdown. At the end of the night on Smackdown they were able to put asides their differences and beat Cody Rhodes and Damien Sandow. They now accept the other as a tag team champion and Kane is going to Disneyland.

#8 Sin Cara (LW=7)

Sin Cara was the unfortunate one and took the pin during the Intercontinental Fatal Four Way match at Night of Champions. He did redeem himself when along with Rey Mysterio, he beat Primo and Epico.

#7 Dolph Ziggler (LW=6)

Ziggler did not win his Night of Champions match against Randy Orton. He then beat Santino Marella on RAW, but also lost a tag team contest with Alberto Del Rio against Randy Orton and Sheamus.

#6 Rey Mysterio (LW=9)

Rey Mysterio was not able to obtain the Intercontinental Championship at Night of Champions. He did manage to beat Epico and Primo with his partner Sin Cara.

#5 CM Punk (LW=4)

CM Punk did retain his WWE Championship at Night of Champions, but only because the match ended up in a draw. Then on RAW, along with Alberto Del Rio, he lost a tag team match against John Cena and Sheamus and he was the one who got pinned.

#4 Alberto Del Rio (LW=2)

Again, Del Rio failed in his quest to become the World Heavyweight Champion. He then also lost a tag team match on both RAW and Smackdown with CM Punk and Dolph Ziggler as his partners. 

#3 John Cena (LW=5) 

John Cena was cheated out of his WWE Championship by a reversed decision by the referee. He then pinned CM Punk in the tag team main event on RAW. With his injury, will John Cena be able to stay at the top of the Power 25?

#2 Randy Orton (LW=3)

Randy Orton had a huge week. It started off with a win over Dolph Ziggler at Night of Champions. He then beat Tensai for the second week in a row on RAW. On Smackdown, he teamed with Sheamus to beat Alberto Del Rio and Dolph Ziggler.

#1 Sheamus (LW=1)

 For the fourth week in a row, Sheamus is on top of the Power 25. He defeated Alberto Del Rio at Night of Champions to retain his World Championship. He then teamed with John Cena on RAW and beat Alberto Del Rio and CM Punk. He finished out the week teaming with Randy Orton on Smackdown and beating Alberto Del Rio and Dolph Ziggler.

Goodbye: These Superstars were unable to retain their spots on the Power 25.

Jerry Lawler (#25): After suffering a heart attack on last weeks show. He did not appear on this weeks show.
