My Power 25- Week of 8/26/12-9/1/12

It has been a while since I last blogged here because I had a very busy summer. I am starting a weekly edition that will be my own power 25 rankings. Since this is the first week, these are my rankings based on only the last week, but I have included some past weeks with important storylines. After this week I will base my rankings depending on the week before hand. I'm also going to try a ranking system that will go until the end of the year. For example 1 point for #25, 25 points for #1. Then that will help determine my superstar of the year. based on the last four months. I will then figure out my own  So, without further adieu...

#25 AJ Lee

Aj is getting notice on this list  because of her slap to Vickie Guerrero. So you can count this as a sort of honorable mention.

#24 Jerry Lawler

Jerry gets a spot here because of the standing up he did to CM Punk. He may have lost his match on RAW, but it takes a true man to stand up to someone. I just wanted to give Lawler props for his dealing with CM Punk.

#23 Epico and Primo

Epico and Primo beat The Usos on Superstars this week.

#22 Jinder Mahal

Jinder Mahal got a win over Alex Riley on Superstars this week.

#21 Darren Young and Titus O'Neil

They beat Justin Gabriel and Tyson Kidd on Smackdown this week.

#20 R-Truth

R-Truth may be tag team champion, but Kofi did not show himself this week, so Truth is on the Power 25 alone. He has a win over Daniel Bryan, but it was a count out when in a match that didn't even last one minute.

#19 The Miz

The Miz lost to John Cena this week on RAW. Since he is the Intercontinental Champion he is still on the list.

#18 Antonio Cesaro

Antonio did not appear on any show this week. I put him on the list because he is the United States
 Champion.

#17 Kaitlyn

Kaitlyn did the unthinkable last week when she won the Diva's battle royal for the number one contender spot. She then beat Natalya on Smackdown this week.

#16 Layla

Layla is the Diva's Champion and also beat Natalya on RAW this week.

#15 Zack Ryder

Zack Ryder beat David Otunga on RAW this week and managed to escape from a chokeslam from Kane.

#14 Santino Marella

Santino beat Heath Slater on RAW this week. He is also not allowing the lost of his United States Championship to bring down his morale.

#13 Ryback

Ryback continues his winning streak by beating Jack Swagger on RAW and Johnny Curtis on Superstars. If he keeps this up he could find himself in the top ten in a few weeks.

  #12 Sin Cara

Sin Cara teamed with Brodus Clay to beat Damien Sandow and Cody Rhodes.

#11 Brodus Clay

Brodus Clay teames with Sin Cara and beat Damien Sandow and Cody Rhodes. Clay even picked up the pin for his team over Rhodes.

#10 Damien Sandow

Even though Sandow lost both his matches, he is up this high because of the recognition he is getting. Mainly because he got a match with the World Heavyweight Champion.

#9 Daniel Bryan

Daniel Bryan had a very short match with R-Truth that he lost.

#8 Kane

Kane lost to Alberto Del Rio on Smackdown, but is a little bit higher because of the chokeslam he did to David Otunga and his comedic gold in the anger management sketches.

#7 Rey Mysterio

Rey Mysterio has done nothing but good things since his return. This week he beat Cody Rhodes on Smackdown.

 #6 Dolph Ziggler

Dolph Ziggler lost both of his matches this week, but he has shown he has what it takes to remain with the big dogs. The question is: When will he cash in his Money in the Bank?

#5 Randy Orton

Orton beat Ziggler on Smackdown and was also on the winning side during RAW.

#4 John Cena

John Cena beat The Miz on RAW and tried to help Jerry Lawler during his beat down by CM Punk. He was also announced as the number one contender to the WWE Championship.

#3 Alberto Del Rio

Alberto Del Rio may have lost on RAW, but he showed why he is the number one contender when he beat Kane in a matter of minutes on Smackdown. Sheamus better watch out.

#2 CM Punk

Punk may be having a strong championship reign, but he needs to do more than beat up 60-year-old-men. It did help him prove a point by beating up Jerry Lawler, but he's going to have to do more than that if he wants to secure the number one spot.

#1 Sheamus

Sheamus had a very successful week. He teamed with Randy Orton on RAW and beat Dolph Ziggler and Alberto Del Rio. He then beat Damien Sandow without having any time to prepare for the match.
